IN MEMORIAM – JOE SCALMANINI

On June 9, 2014, Joe Scalmanini lost his battle with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease). Joe was a tireless champion of groundwater resource protection and sustainable development, which earned him the Groundwater Resources Association of California’s (GRA) Lifetime Achievement Award in 2011 for his dedication
